Prostate Cancer
Prostate cancer is the most prevalent cancer among men, affecting approximately 1 in 8. Although the diagnosis can be alarming, early detection leads to effective treatments and positive outcomes. With timely intervention, most men will not die from prostate cancer and will continue to lead relatively normal lives.

-
Prostate cancer screening involves a blood test to measure the prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels. If PSA levels are high, further evaluation with a prostate MRI and biopsy may be necessary.
-
Certain low-grade prostate cancers may not require treatment, but should be monitored for any changes.
-
For intermediate to high-grade prostate cancers, treatment options can include surgery to remove the prostate with the DaVinci Robot or radiation therapy, such as HDR brachytherapy.
